Are you known for your attention to detail and pride yourself in being a responsible professional? Come join us as a Logistics Specialist! As a Logistics Specialist II, you will be responsible for receiving, stocking, issuing, and transporting parts using defined processes.
You'll maintain inventory through the use of Materials Management Accounting System (MMAS), and for generating / manipulating reports using Microsoft Office and internal business intelligence software.
You will maintain compliance by documenting all transactions and part movements.
You'll learn applicable state, federal, and global regulations and import / export requirements. Must-haves:
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience + A higher level degree may substitute for experience + Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education + Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills + Basic understanding of Inventory and Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques + Experience with inventory databases + Customer service skills + The ability to lift 50lbs.
and successfully pass a DOT physical that includes a baseline audiogram and a vision test is required + A current driver’s license and satisfactory driving record is required + Understanding of Shelf Life + Experience with shipping databases, such as FedEx, DHL, UPS + An active Secret U.S.
