Job Duties & Responsibilities
The Automotive Mechanic position performs all work required in the service, maintenance and repair of automotive and associated equipment, including auxiliary equipment. This is a Safety Sensitive position.
D.O.T.
testing is required.
Job Qualifications

Required:
• High school diploma or GED. • Must have the ability to work under general supervision, aptitude for mechanical work, and ability to use all materials, tools and equipment commonly associated with repair/service work. • Must possess a valid U.S.
driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record. • Must possess or have the ability to acquire NJ Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements. • Must have obtained an acceptable score on the Construction and Skilled Trades (CAST) Test-Automotive or possess ASE certification.
Desired:
• Technical school training or automotive certification • Prior experience with hydraulic or construction equipment repair • 3-5 years automotive/mechanical repair experience.
