POSITION: Bus Driver
Duties: Ensure the safety of passengers by ensuring they board and exit the bus safely, remain seated, and follow safety protocols. Operate the bus safely and follow traffic laws and regulations. Follow the assigned route and schedule for picking up and dropping off students. Manage student behavior and discipline students if necessary. Communicate with parents if there are delays due to traffic or weather. Check the bus for mechanical issues and assist with general cleaning and servicing. Transport students and teachers to participate in extra-curricular activities. Assist students with health issues on the bus. Report any suspicious activities to the school authorities.
Requirements: Must pass Finger Print/Background Check/Drug Test/DOT Physical. Must have or are willing to acquire a CDL License WAGE: $20.07/hr - Route & Substitute Bus Driver $16.60/hr - Shop Help/Bus Safety $17.60/hr - Activity Trips $18.20/hr - Transportation Training BENEFITS: Health Insurance and Retirement benefits. SHIFTS: Full-time - 40 hours per week JOB SITE: Will drive routes throughout Delta County, CO.
