Description:
The Master CDL Driver is responsible for operating commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
This role requires a high level of expertise in driving and handling large trucks, adherence to safety protocols, and exceptional customer service skills.
The Master CDL Driver sets the standard for driving excellence within the company and serves as a mentor to other drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
The role involves operating commercial vehicles, such as tractor-trailers, to transport goods while adhering to all traffic laws and ensuring safe loading and unloading of cargo.
Responsibilities include conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate driving logs, and following safety protocols to foster a culture of safety.
Additionally, the position entails mentoring less experienced drivers, assisting in training program development, and conducting evaluations to ensure compliance with company standards.
Strong customer service skills are essential, as the driver must interact professionally with customers, promptly addressing any concerns.
Finally, optimizing routes for efficiency, coordinating with dispatchers, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness are key operational tasks.

Qualifications:
+ Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License with a clean driving record. + Minimum of 5 years experience driving commercial vehicles, with a proven track record of safety and reliability. + Strong knowledge of federal and state transportation regulation, including hours of service rules. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to mentor and train other drivers effectively. + High level of attention to detail and problem solving abilities. + Ability to work independently and as a part of a team. + Physical capability to handle the demands of the job, including loading and unloading cargo.
