Bruce Young Logging LLC Experts for all your Timber Management needs. Position: CDL Truck Driver Job Location: Heppner, OR Must Be 18 Years or Older Bruce Young Logging, LLC is in search of CDL Truck Drivers to join our company in Heppner, OR.
We are a logging company that specializes in timber and forest management, as well as fire suppression under government contracts.
OVERVIEW: The CDL Truck Driver position involves the safe and efficient operation of the trucks in our fleet for the transportation of logs and heavy equipment to and from jobsites.
We offer a flexible schedule with both part-time and full-time positions available.
You can even choose to work year round or seasonally.
We also offer benefits including Healthcare and Retirement, as well as a bonus after ninety days of employment.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND
Duties: ' Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with our company policy of enrollment in our random drug testing program.
' Must possess a Class A CDL w/Combination Endorsement and Air Brake Endorsement (w/Tanker Endorsement preferred.) ' Must provide a 3 year driving history obtained from DMV.
' Participate in and promote our Company Safety Program ' Be willing and able to work long hours when needed.
' Driving the truck to and from the jobsite for the delivery of equipment and/or materials.
' Skilled at heavy equipment hauling.
' Keep truck and trailer clean and free of loose materials.
' Loading, securing, and unloading equipment.
' Communicating with the Owners to define expectations.
' Follow all FMSCA rules and regulations.
' Completes daily inspection reports and service hour logs.
' Other duties as assigned as a part of the team.
