Job Title: Class A Driver

Job Description
We are a custom fabrication shop seeking a dedicated Class A Driver to operate our 26-foot flatbed truck.
You will be responsible for loading and unloading at customer sites using a forklift or overhead crane.
Most deliveries are within a two-hour range, primarily in Wisconsin.
If you do not have your federal medical card, we will assist you in obtaining it.
When there are fewer driving hours, you will assist in other areas of the shop as needed.
Responsibilities
+ Operate a 26-foot flatbed truck for deliveries within a two-hour range, primarily in Wisconsin. + Load and unload the truck at customer locations using a forklift or overhead crane. + Assist with material handling, utility work, and other shop duties when driving hours are limited.
Essential Skills
+ Class A CDL + Experience in truck driving + Proficiency in operating a flatbed truck + Ability to load and unload using a forklift and overhead crane + Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Material handling experience + Fabrication shop experience

Work Environment
You will work the first shift, with primary hours from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Some days may be shorter or longer based on customer demands.
You will be part of a family-owned company with five buildings, continually expanding and recently acquiring a new facility.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
