WEEKLY PAY/DIRECT PLACEMENT

Description:
Seeking a construction highway technician to assist in duties such as installing roadway guardrails on highways throughout the greater Jacksonville area.
Candidates must have a valid CDL A drivers license.
Must have experience completing general labor work such as operating power tools and digging holes for guard rail posts.
Also will be fastening guard rails to in ground posts along highways/roadways. Types of Guardrails: W-Beam Guard Rail Flared End & W-Beam Guard Rail Question Mark End. Reading plans: Reading plans and schematics. Laying out: Laying out the guardrail in the appropriate location. Handling materials: Handling and installing materials, including loading and unloading them from a flat-bed truck or trailer. Digging: Digging holes. Using power tools: Using power tools, such as a 10-inch core bit or larger. Cementing: Cementing guardrail legs into place.
Shift:
Monday - Friday (7am - 5pm) OR (7pm - 1am).
DOT only allows GC's & Subs to work specific hours due to traffic regulation - Contractors must have availability to work days and nights.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
