Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team.
You will report directly to the Canonsburg site for a daylight shift, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with field staff and management to maintain, repair, rebuild, and troubleshoot a variety of construction equipment, including skid steers, excavators, dozers, crawler carriers, trucks, and other equipment. + Maintain, repair, and modify construction equipment through knowledge of diesel and hydraulic mechanics, as well as on-site fabrication. + Inspect, monitor, and perform maintenance on job site equipment to prevent potential issues and report results upon completion. + Perform other duties as assigned and needed.
Essential Skills
+ High School diploma or GED. + At least 4 years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic. + Extensive knowledge of diesel and hydraulic mechanics. + Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other trades type tools. + Strong decision-making ability and attention to detail. + Ability to work independently and take direction as needed. + Must have own tools for the trade. + Valid Driver's License - Class C (CDL Class A or B is a plus).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Hydraulic and Mechanic Certification is a plus. + Experience with diesel troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and diesel engine maintenance.

Work Environment
This position involves working in a shop environment.
You must be able to reach high and low, stoop, bend, and lift/carry/move up to 80 pounds continually.
The job requires the ability to concentrate in a busy and noisy construction environment and work in all types of weather conditions.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
