Direct Hire Diesel Mechanic - 3rd Shift - $28 to $34 an hour

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to perform comprehensive preventative maintenance on our fleet.
This includes maintaining transmissions, repairing power systems, cooling systems, steering systems, and hydraulic systems.
Candidates must be proficient in electrical diagnostics.

Responsibilities
+ Perform comprehensive preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles. + Maintain and repair transmissions, including both automatic and manual types. + Repair and maintain power systems, cooling systems, steering systems, and hydraulic systems. + Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs. + Work on heavy-duty engines, including Freightliner, Kenworth, and International trucks powered by CAT, Paccar, Cummins, and Detroit motors. + Perform clutch repairs.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in maintaining and repairing transmission systems (both automatic and manual). + In-depth knowledge of hydraulic systems, cooling systems, and steering systems. + Experience with electrical diagnostics. + 3 to 5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic or in repairing heavy-duty engines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ CDL certification. + Experience with ammonia systems. + Forklift operation experience. + Experience with yard trucks.
Work Environment
The work environment is a garage setting, which can be dusty and loud.
Appropriate safety gear and attire are required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $70720.00/yr. - Medical, Dental, Vision - 401k with company match - PTO and sick days - Career growth opportunities - Company paid CDL license

This is a fully onsite position in Springfield,OH.
