DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our Distribution business in Fargo, ND.
Will make an impact in the following ways: + Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop + Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools + Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles + Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies + Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products + Maintain own tools
RESPONSIBILITIES
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: + Primarily engaged in maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics + Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality + Demonstrates an understanding on access to engine repair process information sources. + Understands after-treatment system and can identify major components and their function at a rudimentary level. + Has worked on external components on a diesel engine and understands the basic concepts. + Has some knowledge of engine diagnostic software
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.

QUALIFICATIONS
-Must have a drivers liscense -Will be required to work on small Onan generators, will train if not qualified DOT - A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire - Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older - A current valid license is required for this role - Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience - This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
