Job Title: Driver Helper
Job Description
As a Driver Helper, you will assist in delivering products to job sites, load and unload trucks by hand, and operate a forklift as needed.
You will also be responsible for stocking the warehouse and managing inventory.
Responsibilities
+ Help deliver products to job sites.
+ Load and unload trucks by hand.
+ Operate a forklift as needed (training provided).
+ Stock the warehouse.
+ Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using a computer.
+ Pack and unpack items to be stocked in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
+ Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies.
+ Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
+ Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electronic marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
+ Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
+ Order pulling
+ Loading/unloading trucks
+ Heavy lifting (up to 75lbs)
+ Forklift operation (training provided)
+ Inventory management
+ Warehouse experience (1+ year)
+ Ability to stand for 10+ hours a day
+ Experience working independently (6+ months)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Customer service experience (6+ months preferred)
+ Sit-down forklift experience (6+ months preferred)
+ Computer proficiency, especially in Word (6+ months preferred)
+ Proficiency in using an inventory tracking system
+ Comfortable with heights and the ability to climb on top of rail cars to unhook cables

You will work alongside a CDL driver throughout the day, forming a team of two.
There are 13 teams in total.
The dress code includes jeans, steel-toed boots, and work shirts/sweatshirts.
This position requires the ability to work long hours and perform physically demanding tasks.
