Position Overview
We are currently looking to add a dynamic Equipment Operator to our passionate team of tree care professionals.
Your office is outdoors, and you get a new view every day!
Job Duties

What You’ll Do:
+ Operate mobile equipment during tree pruning and removals. + Perform all aspects of tree pruning and removal services safely and skillfully for clients. Including but not limited to: + Operate tractors, excavation equipment, stump grinders, log trucking equipment and more + Pruning, thinning and removing deadwood throughout the tree canopy + Installation of cables, bracing and lightening protection systems + Transport necessary equipment to local job sites in the immediate, local area + Removal of hazardous trees + Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more. + Be part of the most progressive greenspace stewardship team in the industry!
Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:
+ Love of the outdoors + Required: Valid driver’s license + Required: Class A CDL + Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire + Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire + Must be able to lift 50 pounds + Preferred: Relevant tree care and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
