Small construction company is looking for a operator/skilled laborer.
CDL a plus, but not required. We are a small company that drills, forms, and pours light pole foundations for site lighting using Digger-Derrick/Line trucks, skid steer, and mini excavator. Candidate will be required to do manual labor such as digging with a shovel, forming light pole bases, wrecking cardboard forms, and finishing concrete.
Will also be responsible for welding rebar cages alongside other employees. Work is 90%-95% in the Atlanta area and 5%-10% out of town. Skills Required: 1.
Must have a valid driver's license with good/clean driving record 2.
Must be able to pass background checks for military and nuclear facilities 3.
Must be drug free and able to pass a drug screening 4.
Must have basic construction skills (i.e.
reading a tape measure, light concrete work) 5.
General concrete experience (from pouring to finishing) 6.
Some welding experience (vital part of the job and training will be provided if no prior experience) 7.
Some electrical experience helpful
