Job Title: ERS Technician

Job Description
We are seeking Emergency Response Technicians to handle all roadside assistance calls.
This role involves changing and replacing tires, charging or replacing dead car batteries, and towing vehicles when necessary.
Technicians will start their day at the garage, where they will clock in and be assigned a vehicle for the day.
Each day includes conducting a full safety inspection of the vehicle, handling 3-5+ roadside assistance calls, and performing end-of-day inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean and fueled.
Responsibilities
+ Change and replace tires. + Charge or replace dead car batteries. + Tow vehicles when necessary. + Conduct full safety inspections of assigned vehicles at the start and end of each day. + Handle 3-5+ roadside assistance calls per day. + Maintain cleanliness and fuel levels of assigned vehicles.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Must have a valid driver's license and have been driving for 5+ years to qualify for an ERS Tech III. + Must have a high school diploma or GED. + Must be able to work independently. + Must have some customer service experience as they will be the face of the company. + Previous experience as a tow truck driver (Non-CDL). + Must have 4 points or less on their MVR/driving record.

Work Environment
The work environment is a mechanics garage equipped with specialized tools and a fleet of 68 vehicles.
The job can be dirty and involves exposure to all weather conditions.
Busy days are expected during bad weather with higher than normal calls.
The garage is clean and well-equipped.
This position involves near 100% travel, covering all of Marion County and surrounding areas.
Technicians will operate trucks ranging from an F-150 for roadside calls to an F-550 tow truck for hauling small to mid-size vehicles.

This is a Permanent position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $52000.00/yr. This summary is not legally binding, it is not a contract, and it does not alter or amend any original Plan documents.

TUITION After one year of employment, apply for approval, maximum reimbursement of $500 per REIMBURSEMENT calendar year for tuition, books, and fees of job-related courses from an accredited school. WELLNESS Eligible associates who are currently and have been actively employed (working at least REIMBURSEMENT 20 hours/week) for twelve consecutive months.
Associates may receive up to $300.00 per calendar year reimbursement for wellness related costs incurred.
