PeopleReady Skilled Trades is hiring experienced Equipment Operators in the Jacksonville, FL area.
We are looking for individuals with experience operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, backhoes, track hoes, tractors, dump trucks (CDL and off-road) and skid steers. Pay Rate: The pay rate for this job is $24 - $28 / hour (DOE) Responsibilities: Hours: ?5 X 8's  Work outdoors in appropriate safety and protective equipment  Operating equipment safely via hand signals, radio communication and using occupant safety devices  Performing pre-operational equipment checks and basic maintenance at the end of the day to ensure equipment stays in service. Completing and maintaining equipment log sheets and reports  Performing site planning and setup by assessing jobsite conditions and identifying or selecting appropriate attachments for the work to be done  Acquiring and using a knowledge of earthmoving fundamentals (soil characteristics, ground conditions, map reading) as well as relevant health and safety acts, municipal codes and bylaws, natural gas regulations, and the Highway Traffic Act  Working cooperatively with supervisors and co-workers  Continuously learning about new techniques/equipment to operate safely while maintaining productivity 
Qualifications: Have at least 3 years of experience or an active certification for operation of Heavy Equipment, to include, Skid Steer, Mini-Excavator, Excavator, Front End Loader, Compactor Dozer, Backhoe, Trackoe, LULL/forklift, On/Off Road Dump Truck, Grader, Finish Grader, Scissor Lift, Boom Lift Have knowledge of all safety controls, switches for multiple types of equipment Be able to pass an onsite Skills Test Have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite and be able to work at least 40 hours a week Have Personal Protective Equipment Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation Reliable transportation to and from work Own tools and willing to bring them to work with you each day For more information, please contact on the below details – 1- Name – John Davis 2- Contact Number -(904) 562-8779 #SKILLEDTRD PeopleReady is an equal opportunity employer, and we value diversity.
