Job Title: Maintenance Manager
Summary: Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in setting up, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery, equipment, and other corporate assets and in fabricating metal parts and tools by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Directs maintenance team in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment. ? Assists maintenance team in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment. ? Directs maintenance team engaged in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery. ? Negotiates best pricing of maintenance and repair related purchases. ? Requisitions and maintains inventory supply of spare parts. ? Maintains inventory and identification of all maintenance vehicles, tools, machinery, and equipment. ? Modifies programming of equipment such as programmable controllers. ? Studies production schedules and estimates personnel hour requirements for completion of job assignment. ? Interprets company policies to team and enforces safety regulations. ? Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to team, and assigns duties. ? Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. ? Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. ? Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew. ? Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems. ? Initiates or suggests plans to motivate team to achieve work goals. ? Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments. ? Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment. ? Troubleshoots machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine. ? Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts. ? Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery and develops PM schedules for operational assets. ? Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment. ? Designs, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment. ? Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment. ? Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers. ? Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools. ? Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. ? Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures. ? Other duties may be assigned.

? Directly supervises employees in the Maintenance Department. ? Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. ? Qualifications:
? To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience:
? One year certificate from college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. ? Electrical Certification (necessary) ? Mechanical Certification or equivalent experience troubleshooting industrial equipment. ? Plumbing Certification or equivalent experience.
Language Skills:
? Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
? Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
? Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
? To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer skills and knowledge spreadsheet software and Word Processing software and have email communication tact and skills.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
? Forklift and Pallet jack Certification (will be certified by company) ? CDL license if moving, transporting or test-driving commercial vehicles.

? Truck and trailer repair (desired)
