The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau is accepting applications for mini bus drivers to work semi part-time and on-call throughout the year.
Scheduled work hours may include late afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends.
Responsibilities include:- Operating a passenger-carrying vehicle with a capacity of twenty-two persons or fewer along varying routes at varying times;- Performing checks on assigned vehicle to determine safe and proper function­ing of brakes, lights, heating equipment, wheelchair lift, and tires, as well as general running condition;- Determining any maintenance and repair needs and reporting them to designated authority.A CDL with Passenger Endorsement is required for this position.
