Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries is a nationally recognized leader in vocational rehabilitation services for individuals with disabilities, and is looking for a leader to provide supervision within our Mission Transportation Department.
This individual will provide ongoing supervision, training, and coordination for transportation for consumers. Oversees all preventative maintenance and safety of all non-CDL vehicles. Responsible for coordinating all personnel needs for van drivers, providing ongoing training as required by DOT/ DD/ CARF, maintaining/submitting required reports, and scheduling routes among other responsibilities.

Requirements:
EDUCATION:
High School Graduate or Equivalent Required
Experience:
One-year supervisory experience.
Two years of experience in transportation, logistics, or related field.
KNOWLEDGE:
Good understanding of DOT and safety regulations, reading, writing, basic computer, organizational, customer service skills, and a knowledge of Greater Cincinnati Area preferred.
ESSENTIAL
Duties:
- Build and Maintain transportation routes for participants attending day programing.
- Plan staff coverage for transportation routes in the mornings/afternoons as needed.
- Supports program staff with logistics and loading of program participants to respective transportation modes in the morning and afternoon.
- Maintains all maintenance and vehicle inspection files according to department regulations.
- Completes weekly, monthly, and yearly inspections on company vehicles.
- Maintains current registration and license on all company vehicles.
- Schedules all routine and safety repairs with appropriate vendors.
- Process invoices, record in vehicle files, and submit for approval.
- Generates all incidents and accident reports related to vehicle accidents and DOT accidents.
Files with insurance company as needed.
- Oversees the updating of billing program for van ridership, attendance, and overall route times on a daily and weekly basis.
- Provides ongoing and yearly training as required by DOT, DODD, and CARF.
- Create maintain and update training manuals as needed.
- Compiles required reports and submits to appropriate department managers.
- Responsible for achieving budgets and expense goals.
- Assist with coverage of routes if other drivers are unavailable.
- Other duties as assigned.
