Qualifications: Experience operating a large box truck.
Ability to operate a variety of material handling equipment, ability to bend, lift, climb, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
Possess the ability to safely lift more than 60lbs on a normal basis Duties Description The Motor Vehicle Operator will be assigned to the Wadsworth Center and will be responsible for operating a range of vehicles on and off State property to facilitate the transportation of mail, materials, specimens, and equipment as necessary.
The operator may be required to plan routes, itineraries, and designated stops.
Responsibilities include loading and unloading cargo onto and from the vehicle, as well as transporting it to delivery or storage locations.
The operator will also maintain accurate records, including manifests and inventories, of all goods and individuals transported.
Additionally, the operator must ensure that all routine vehicle maintenance is conducted in a timely manner to support the efficient movement of cargo.
