As a
Plow Technician,
you will be responsible for operating Vermeer heavy and light construction equipment, including backhoes, rock saws, excavators, cable plows, directional drills, trenchers, front-end loaders, air compressors.
You will also be locating equipment, hydraulic reel trailers and other types of machinery supporting a major telecommunications infrastructure project.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications +
Experience:
Underground utility installation methods experience of at least two years, practical working experience with underground construction for both conduit and fiber installation +
Education:
High school diploma or General Education diploma +
Technical Skills:
General knowledge of construction practices, knowledge of reading and understanding blueprints +
Abilities:
Able to read, write, speak and understand English. +
Skills:
Strong communication, able to work under pressure +
Schedule:
Hours will be determined as business needs dictate +
Travel Ability:
Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record; you’ll travel 80% of the time to complete projects at different sites Preferred Qualifications +
Experience:
Conduit and fiber installation methods of at least five years +
Education:
OSHA safety certifications, Operator qualifications, Class A CDL, valid driver’s license
