summary + $47,000 - $55,000 per year + permanent + high school + category transportation and material moving occupations + referenceAB4522984 job details Randstad is looking for experienced CDL drivers to transport and deliver cargo to regional customers while ing knowledge and skills for operating a commercial motor vehicle safely and properly as required by company policy and Federal, State, and Local laws.
This is a regional driving position, operating up to 10 hours but home nightly.
Loading and unloading of materials may be required.
A clear background and MVR will be required for this position.
Pay will be between $23 to $25 an hour based on experience. salary: $47,000 - $55,000 per year shift: First work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM education: High School Responsibilities + CDL certification. + Apply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering vehicles. + Properly operate all controls and equipment for the safe loading and unloading of cargo, including but not limited to operating and manipulating boom cranes, lift gates, and manual pallet jacks. + Properly stow and secure all cargo and equipment before movement as required by US DOT regulations and company policy. + Professional representation of the company through responsible driving, courteous customer service, and appearance. + Inspect CMV for defects to ensure safe operating conditions before, during, and after trips and submit a documented report on the condition of the CMV at the end of each trip or tour of duty. + Check shipping papers to determine the nature of the load and verify for accuracy, including proper display of all required placards at all times. + Properly drive CMV to and from designated destinations for up to the maximum hours as DOT hours-of-service rules allow. + Comply with all company and customer safety and delivery requirements, including wearing the required personal protective equipment when required.
