Duties & Responsibilities: + Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons. + Verify trucks arriving and leaving the premises + Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect signs of criminal activity or unauthorized access. + Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing assistance and reporting incidents as necessary. + Prepare detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities. + Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed. + Enforce facility rules and regulations, ensuring compliance by all individuals on site. + Provide exceptional customer service to visitors and employees, addressing inquiries and concerns. + Assist in the development and implementation of security protocols and procedures. Requirements: + High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certifications preferred. + Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle. + Valid driver’s license and a good driving record, note a CDL is NOT required + Proven experience as a security guard or in a related field. + Strong observational skills and attention to detail. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations. + Basic knowledge of security equipment and technology. + Must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
