PDS Tech is seeking a Fleet technician in Baytown, TX
Pay rate: 31.72 an hour schedule is 40-hour work week. Job Type:
Full time; Consultant (6 months) temp to perm.

Job Summary:
The Fleet Technician is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment to ensure they are safe and compliant.
They will handle everything from routine inspections to complex mechanical and electrical system diagnoses.
Even Simpler: This job is like being a doctor for cars and big trucks.
The person will check them to make sure they are healthy (safe to drive) and fix anything that is broken.

Skill Requirements
Must-Have: +
Preventative maintenance
inspection experience. + Proficiency in
repairs
of
chassis
and
ancillary equipment.
+ Ability to diagnose and repair complete
drive-train
,
AC
/
DC electrical systems
, and
hydraulic systems.
+ Experience maintaining both paper and digital
automotive equipment service records.
+ Strong
computer literacy
, including knowledge in
MS Excel
,
MS Word
, and locating online information. Preferred: + Valid unrestricted California CDL with Air Brake endorsement + Proficiency in operating vehicles with manual transmission + Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with a Class A or B CDL + Valid CA BAR Emissions Inspector AND Emission Repair Technician License + ASE Master Automotive or Master Medium/Heavy Truck certification
Pay Details:
