### JOB SUMMARY As a CDL Truck Driver, your primary focus is safety.
You'll act as a professional ambassador for our company, delivering quality goods and exceptional customer service.

Most runs are out-and-back on the same day, and you'll be compensated not just for miles driven, but for various other essential transportation activities. ###   ### ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination. - Assist with unloading using a pallet jack when needed. - Perform multi-stop deliveries to diverse retailers, ensuring delivery accuracy and exceptional customer service. - Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections of the tractor and trailer. - Maintain safety by adhering to company, FMCSA, and DOT regulations during equipment operation. - Comply with company policies, procedures, and professional standards. ###   ### POSITION REQUIREMENTS - Minimum age of 23. - One year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience required; two years preferred. - No history of DUI or drug/alcohol-related driving convictions. - Doubles/Triples endorsement preferred (training available). - Ability to safely inspect and operate trucks and equipment. - Valid Idaho CDL Class A and medical card. - Professional, reliable, and punctual, with knowledge of delivery routes and highways. - Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate professionally with partners. - Capacity to work independently and manage tasks effectively. - Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screening.   At Associated Food Stores, we prioritize finding the right drivers while ensuring that our company is a good fit for you.
