Above Par started in 1997 as a brokerage with four partners, each bringing their years of experience in the trucking industry to the business. Dedicated to their new motto of "Committed to Quality Service," the partners soon realized they would need their own trucks to uphold that motto. In 1998, four trailers were purchased and four tractors were leased. From that beginning, Above Par has grown. Warehousing has been added to the Logistics/Brokerage service. Refrigerated trailers and dry van trailers cover the 48 states. All equipment is late model to provide the most reliable service at a competitive price. For those times when an Above Par truck may not be available, the company keeps products moving on schedule by working with one of the more than 1000 partner carriers in their database.
