Matlack Transport transports your Boat, PWC or Vehicle very seriously. That’s why Matlack Transport is registered with the DOT and FMCSA. We have Liability insurance 2m/1m and Cargo insurance to 50k which can be increased if needed. Company also hold a Commercial Driver’s License in North Carolina for any size vehicle. Copies of those documents are supplied prior to item pickup. DOT requires anyone who transports for hire interstate with a total weight over 10,001 lbs. to be registered. This is Tow Vehicle GVW + Towed Item GVW= Total Weight.

Safety is a number one priority when you hold a CDL license. Your Boat or PWC Trailer must be in good condition and not in need of repair. It must be registered/tagged and must be the proper one for towing your item. Your Boat or PWC must be prepped and ready for shipment. Company does a Pre-Trip Inspection with Pictures and inspect the Boat, PWC or Vehicle within the first 50 miles then every 2 hours or 150 miles. Any issues that arise during the transport will be resolved to the best of my ability. Additional charges may be applied for client equipment repair and will be communicated prior to remedy.
